Anastasios Pappas MD Establishes Med School Scholarship at the University of South Dakota

In memory of Chris Karnezis MD, we have established the Chris Karnezis Memorial Scholarship at the University of South Dakota Sanford School of Medicine.  This scholarship will help cover several thousand dollars annually of the cost of tuition for one eligible medical student enrolled in good standing.

The funding has been established for 4 years, and we hope over time to be able to sustain the scholarship and possibly make it grow.

The scholarship will be available beginning in the 2012/2013 calendar year with preference for students of Greek descent and than those of South Dakota and Minnesota residence.
